Surely people are no stranger to racing simulation games like Asphalt or Real Racing. Players must participate in races to bring themselves the necessary items to upgrade their beloved cars and continue to participate in other races to easily win more. If you’re a sure-fire racing enthusiast you’ve heard of Forza Street, a pretty popular free to play a game in racing games. Forza Street is Microsoft’s exclusive racing series that is open for free from users on April 16 on Windows 10. And it is expected to appear on iOS and Android platforms later this year.
The game itself is not a realistic racing game, at least not in this first entry in the series. Forza Street focuses on the experience optimized for mobile gaming and what you need to do is speed up or slow down when the vehicle has an auto-running mode. This simple gameplay is an interesting point for mobile gamers.
A 1-year-old game
Although Forza Street was announced by Turn 10 Studio today, the game is actually a brand of Miami Street and was released by Microsoft for nearly a year. It has been significantly updated since its release to date. The stories are added to the game alongside new parts to upgrade the car, improvements with images, language, sound, effects and game launch times.
Forza Street is an endless story enhanced with new content, including challenges and events. The game has been released for a year, so it also comes with a solid content collection. It owns a list of cars that have been expanded since its launch and are optimized on the spot and more. Currently, the game is free to play, so it is like a loop with the loot box content. However, we will wait to see if there are any changes in the upcoming updates of the game or in the version for Android and iOS.
Not really a racing game
Forza Street has very few factors to be able to call it a real racing game. The limitation of the player’s control can bring convenience to players on mobile devices, but there is not much to do for PC players. Unlike the previous Forza games, Forza Street does not require the player to control his car to win. Instead, it relies on time and involves clicking on the left mouse button or space bar to accelerate and let go to slow around the corners.
It hardly has any strategy. After a few tutorial races, you are allowed to press another button to speed up whenever you want. It can be said that games for mobile devices need to be simple and easy to play, but Forza Street has made it so simple that players feel they are not an important factor.
Like many other free to play games, Forza Street also earns income through in-store in-store packages. Some Forza Street packages may cost up to a hundred dollars. If you have enough money and you are a person who is not patient enough to wait to unlock your favorite car, you can shorten that time by paying a lot of money to the game.
Images and sounds are not too special
It is not as outstanding and as beautiful as the Asphalt but it also has its own appeal. The cars are quite well designed and eye-catching light. However, the frame rate of the game is still a good thing to be adjusted. Music is not too diverse but it is not too bad. It still includes the exciting tracks of racing games but it will not be the one that stays in your head every time you exit the game.
It can be said, Forza Street has caused many different opinions about its gameplay. Forza Street’s simple gameplay makes many people feel quite convenient but makes many people feel offended when they are too free to play. They have nothing to think about or need any skills to successfully complete racing. The game is currently free on the Windows Store, you can fully experience and give your own opinion because it is completely free.
Currently, the mobile version of the game is not yet available, we will update it as soon as it is officially released.
